Eligibility & Registration
- Educational qualification: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in any discipline (candidates may sit the exam before completing their degree, but certification is granted only after)
- Active IMA membership – Student, Academic or Professional tier (Student tier offers fee discounts)
- CMA Entrance Fee paid to IMA to activate candidacy (valid 3 years, during which both exam parts must be passed)
- 2 years of professional experience in management accounting or financial management – completed before or within 7 years of passing the exam
- Documents required: Passport, degree certificate/transcripts, IMA membership proof, and a passport-size photo. (Non-English documents need to have a translated copy signed by the authorised translator and notary both.)
